The flow principle: goods should keep moving

When goods move in one direction from entry to dispatch without doubling back, time and collision risk fall. Separate doors for receiving and dispatch with nothing in the way between them is a core rule.

In a design, draw the path of goods as a red line on the plan: crossings are problem points.
